 "hunt stick". The hunt stick is designed to provide a hunter or hiker stability while traversing terrain. It is designed as a tall walking staff, allowing a person to use it with a greater length for effectiveness. When hiking down hill, you can place the stick further down hill, thus providing stability to help keep you from slipping and falling.
